Spooky Halloween Treat Bag

Good morning everyone!! It's Sandie here and after a hectic summer I am back with a cute SCARY project that I want to share with you.

We all love die cuts and the general rule is to cut them out and stick them down onto our projects. They add just that little extra to your creations - however, heat embossing your die cuts brings them into a whole 'nother world. There are so many options from just one layer embossing to embossing/stamping to the cracked glass effect.

Each element of my 'scene' has been heat embossed....

A side view of the treat bag. You can add goodies inside... or maybe even ghastlies ;)

I used Black Glint on the house to make it sparkle

The 'moon' has been heat embossed 3 times with Mandarin and then stamped on using memento black ink and Funky border Strips clear stamps. For the bat I used ultra high black.

A little close up of the shimmery house....

For the tree I used Clear Semi Dull. I didn't want it glossy, trees aren't shiny.

This treat bag was so much fun to create and all you need to do is..

Take one piece of 4"x 12" card scored at 5.25" on either side and folded on each of the scorelines, this makes up the base/outside. For the box inside you need a 4" x 6" piece of card and score it at 1.25" on all 4 sides. Once you have the box assembled, adhere it to the centre of the base. Decorate to taste :)

WOW! products used:
